There is so much to do on a Southern Illinois vacation that sometimes the hardest part is trying to figure out where to start. Biking, horseback riding, hiking, rock climbing, sipping wine or doing a little antique shopping are all choices you need to consider. Of course just relaxing at the Manor pool is another good option. We will take you through a few of these options:Biking:The Tunnel Hill State Bike Trail runs 46 miles from Harrisburg Il to Karma, IL. There is a 450 foot tunnel as well as 17 trestles on the trail. The largest trestle is 1800 ft long and 90 ft high. Most of the trail goes throught the forest offering a very serene and peaceful ride. The worst grade is only 60 ft over about 9 miles. If you don't want to bring a bike there is a great bike rental shop open from Jun to Oct. You may want to call for reservation.
